Enjoy a piece of California history in drinking this wine. This heritage clone of Chardonnay, called Mt. Eden, was brought to California from France in the late 1890's by Paul Masson after he took cuttings from his friend Louis Latour in Burgundy.

Production I 80 Cases. 100% neutral oak barrels, native yeast fermentation. Aged 11 months in oak, then racked to stainless for the remainder of elevage.

Tasting Notes:

Lemon curd, salty air, meringue, sun kissed orchard fruits, beeswax and floral tones create an alluring nose. The palate is generous and silky with notes of roasted quince and nutmeg, sure to satiate many a taster.
