Wiley vineyard was planted by Brad Wiley in the 1970's. Our Riesling block was planted in 1976, with each couple of end vines planted to Muscat. The aromas that first come out of the glass are cheerful and energetic. White peaches, kiwi, pineapple guava, and fresh ginger spice present themselves on the nose, followed by an extremely concentrated palate that only old vines can bring. Mineral and citrus peel driven with juicy acidity on the finish make this wine ultimately refreshing.
Riesling & Muscat (~8%) cofermented. Neutral puncheons and a stainless steel barrel for 6 months, stirred.
