2022 Chardonnay Santa Cruz Mountains Peter Martin Ray
Enjoy a piece of California history in drinking this wine. This heritage clone of Chardonnay, called Mt. Eden, was brought to California from France in the late 1890's by Paul Masson after he took cuttings from his friend Louis Latour in Burgundy.

Tasting Notes:
The 2022 Peter Martin Ray Chardonnay carries the mountain energy and saline precision this site is known for. The nose shows elderflower, lemon verbena, and preserved Meyer lemon, with a subtle savory edge from its rocky, ocean-influenced setting. The palate is taut and textured, driven by a clear mineral line and a quiet richness that unfolds with air. A focused, long-lived Chardonnay from one of California’s most singular vineyard sites.
*Wine is unfined & unfiltered, so natural sediment may be in the bottle*
