I had a friend that really wanted to try his hand at Riesling in an Amphora. Wish granted. Which meant my wish also got granted, what would it be like to Vinify the oldest block on the property on its own? Delicious.
Wiley vineyard was planted by Brad Wiley in the 1970's. Our Riesling block was planted in 1976, with each couple of end vines planted to Muscat.
Riesling & Muscat (~3%) cofermented. Neutral puncheons (80%) and stainless steel (20%) for 6 months, stirred.
